Should i part or sell whole
I just picked this car up it's a 70 cutlass four-door complete car pretty original runs and drives did have an alternator problem but I will get that fixed if I can sell a whole, just wondering if you guys think I should part it or sell it complete it has really nice redone interior, disc brakes, Posi rear, 70 fenders, nice rad support, does have typical rust in the fenders and quarters, but not too bad. Runs and drives. Let me know what you think and what it would sell for Hall. Thanks Brandon

Your going to need to find someone who really wants it or is going to use it as a donor car for their current project. As a more door the desirability drops like a rock. The seats look like they have been reupholstered. Good luck, tough choice.

If it doesn't take too much time/money to resolve the alternator problem, you could try selling it as a driver first. If you can't get as much as you think the parts are worth, then part it out. That would save you the time it will take to dismantle, package and ship parts. John

My standing rule of vehicle/parts investments is to make a minimum 25% to 100% profit... Remember time is money, If you need to dismantle something to sell it, that time has a value plus the value of the part... Packing and shipping also has a time/cost value... IMO, if you can sell the vehicle complete and at a minimum double or even triple your initial investment, sell it... If you are in no rush to recoup your investment, and can use what you don't sell for future projects, then dismantle it for parts... It's absolutely a personal choice based on your current and future requirements... Good luck in what ever choice you decide... An important side note is that the 4-door Trunk Lid will fit Convertibles...

In my opinion that is too nice a car to part out. Yeah it is a more door but not everybody can afford a 2 door or a convertible. Some guy with kids and on a budget would probably love to have this car. Of course at the end of the day it all comes down to time and money.

Looks pretty clean. Alternator issue is most likely a simple repair as previously stated. I would most likely bring more money in parts, but once it's apart it's another piece of history is lost. If I had a place to keep it I'd be a buyer.
