To sell or not to sell?

Spring is almost here and it will be time to get the hurst/olds out of storage for another season. I tried to sell it before the fall last year but didn't have anyone interested in it. Now due to the global economic crisis I wonder if it would be a bad idea to try and sell it again this spring?

Are there still any buyers out there interested in purchasing a nice 84 Hurst Olds or is everyone hanging on to thier cash just in case they lose thier jobs?

What are your thoughts? Should I even try?

Here is the ad that I posted last fall. I would still like to get $8-9k for it. I need the money to fix up my Starfire and pay off some bills.

I tried ebay last fall and had a few bids on it. The highest was $6500.00 U.S. which was pretty low then but now with our dollar dropping $6500.00 wouldn't be so bad.

Thats is just over $8000.00 CAD today.

Very nice car and well worth 6500US even today. If you lived near me, I'd come and look at it for that price. I'd probably bring cash with me to seal the deal after a once over.
And yes. People are clinging to their cash. In my opinion, people are in panic with so much negative crap on the news every night.

would you be interested in traiding for a 1991 Quad 442 W-41. it only has 47,000 miles. fully documented, down to the window sticker.

No Thanks, nice car though...

I would however trade for a 1960 Olds Ninety Eight.
