I am doing a build right now with one of Marks cranks. Seems to be a nice piece but it is not billet. Sizes were good and balanced easily.

Yes they are billet. If they could have been made from an actual forging, they would’ve been a whole lot less money.
However, they were 5140, not 4340 like the new ones will be.
New batch of 12 should be available by early fall, of which 5 are already spoken for.

Interesting. Maybe that is why it doesn't look like the typical billet crank.

Yes. My customer bought the rotating assembly from Mark. Edelbrock heads. Its been a slow project but its nearing completion. He is having the car completely restored so not sure how long it will be. This will be an EFI engine and believe it or not it is going in a 79-85 Riviera fwd car. Cant remember what year his is but its just like my Wife's 84.

Actually most everything has been pretty consistent since the choice of stroke was finalized years ago.
2.500” Olds mains, 2.100” SBC rod journals, 4.00” stroke, Olds late model flange drilled for Olds bushing, Olds snout. Designed for internal balance bobweight of in or about 1800gr.

So no 3"mains left. Well you snooze you loose. Money is tight for me right now. Plus I would need spacers. Hmm . Well congrats on getting some stuff made again Mark.

I have one DX main (3.00”) crank left if you’re interested.
