Anyone here have Edelrock performer rpm heads on a 1970 STOCK bottom end 455 with a comp cams xe284 camshaft?

I'm curious before I take this thing apart if I will have piston to valve clearance. I have actually never measured this clearance on an olds also never put a cam like this in an olds or head aluminum heads on an Oldsmobile before

 

It's very difficult to get piston to valve conflicts, if not impossible, in an Oldsmobile engine. Off the shelf parts lessen the minimal risk even more.

Thank you to both of you that answered. I just didn't want to take this thing apart and it not work out with the parts I have. I've had these problems in the past with some of the Ford stuff I've done or worked on.

It's a 100% stock 1970 455
I'll clay the pistons but just wanted to know if it would most likely work before I took it apart

 

That cam likes 10:1 compression, good valve springs, doesn’t like power brakes..

 

Agree that this cam likes compression, Power brakes work well for me.
