Someone made one on a 3D printer not long ago on here. It would take me a while to find the thread but maybe he could make another one?

It was a favor ... I'm afraid i don't have the resources to make another one. I would check on having that one welded. Mine was not broken but actually way worse than yours as it was totally shot fulls of holes from corrosion. i was able to find a guy who welded it up. That is now my back up part.

Just a good idea or as a emergency repair....

I made mine from a piece of 8mm flat stock I believe it is called as a flange, and a 90 degree weld pipe fittings. Turned out beautyfull. It is a little taller than OE, but it does not matter at all.

Yep. Looks like making it is the way to go

Epic fail. In my previos attempt to re clock a different thermostat, My flange was too thin and when i tightened it down, it tweaked. 8mm or 5/16 sounds about the right thickness.. Prototype number 2 in the works.
stay tuned

Before I made mine from scrath, I bought an adjustable Chevrolet 350 thermostat housing and modified it to fit. I never finished the process of making it pretty, then I made one from scrath.

Biggest challenge was not to warp the flange part when welding.

It'll work. Honestly though, your original can be fixed. I just dropped mine off at the local guy who does all the aluminum trailer and pontoon boat repair. $40 and water tight.

Years ago the thermostat housing on my 64 98 cracked in the same spot. I had it welded.

Excellent that you sourced a replacement. Post a pic when you get it back together!

$100?? You got screwed and paid the highest price on planet Earth. I mean you could of bought one for $70 on EBay.... and that includes the actual intake manifold as well

Make sure you keep the broken thermostat housing. You can always have it repaired as a back up or at least toss it in the spare parts bin when you sell the car.

My 2 cents, $100 is not out of line. I looked on ebay for months and there were NONE. I called the tech advisor for these cars and even talked to Judy Badgely. NONE to be found.
Remember they are specific to last years of 394, and specific to 4 barrel cars too.

If you're still looking for a thermostat housing , this one just popped up on E-Bay ;
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1959-60-61-...0AAOSw5RldI5m~
It's aftermarket , and is made of cast iron .
