Convertible sun visor

I am looking for a nice set of oem sun visors for 68-42 442 convertible.
Color doesnt matter. I bought a set to reproduction ones but they would not stay in the upright position even with new bushings. Thanks in advance.

I would try making some sort of insert to tighten up the bushings. That seems to be the simplest resolution to your issue. I did this on my Jeep Wrangler where the sun visor would flop down (there is a lot of bouncing around offroad) and it was very successful.

Gary - Here's a pair I have for sale. Disregard the price.....I'd take less.

Thanks everyone who replied to my request. This morning I took my old visors over to the upholstery shop I use and they are going to recover them for me for 50.00. That way I wont have to worry about a different set of visors not working properly with my receptacles. I did not think they could be saved but found out otherwise. This shop does lots of work on classic cars and he told me that plenty of his customer who tried using the reproduction ones were having problems where they would not stay up. He then said it is just best to have your old ones redone.

That is what I have found with many, many parts. It's good to hear that the shop can make your originals as good as (better than?) new for a very reasonable price.
