'70-72 Convertible Sun Visors w/vanity mirror provision
Up for sale is a nice original pair of convertible sun visors....'70-72 Abody convertible (maybe earlier as well...don't know):
>Green material is the color of the '71 Cutlass Supreme Convertible these came from. Material is in very nice condition...not torn, gouged, dented, etc. Material is the original vinyl...not re-covered, etc.
>Padding under the vinyl is in very nice condition...no "divots", etc
>P side has the vanity mirror....I've removed the mirror and thoroughly de-glued the metal mirror mounting plate Backing plate plastic mount pins are there and in great shape as well as the pin receptacles that are in the sun visor. Mirror is included but it needs to be replaced or re-silvered.
>The four chrome trim pieces (2 per visor) are not perfect....they are shiny but have some small bubbles. May be available repro or possibly transfer over from another pair of visors if you need perfect chrome trim caps.
>THESE CAN EASILY BE DYED/PAINTED if you need another color like black. Again, the original covering is in great condition and no reason to think they won't take a dye or paint and look great.
>Thread on the outer vinyl welting strip has some of the typical splayed threads here and there but these aren't threatening to fall apart or anything like that.
>May also be correct for '69 Abodies but not sure.
$100 for the pair + shipping
Payment by check or MO.....no paypal

I wonder how much it would be to ship to Colorado? And does someone know what it takes to make these black costwise?
My drivers side visor is broken, and both look in worse shape than these two beauties, would sure like to replace mine.

If you post or your shipping address zipcode the answer on shipping is easy!!
As far as changing the color.....I can do that for you at a low cost as I already have the materials here to do it. However, I won't undertake that process until I've first received payment.
Shipping will be very reasonable - not a lot of weight and the box won't be "oversized" (in terms of a size that causes "upcharges" by the shippers)....either Fedex Ground or USPostal and I pack parts very thoroughly.
