I'm looking for a fuel tank for my 1964 dynamic 88 2 door. any information will be appreciated. Is the 2 door and 4 door the same tank? Is 385293 the correct part number? Will any other tank work?

 

I imagine 2 door and 4 door tanks are identical. Usually it's the station wagons that have a different tank. Have you checked to see if the tank you have can be restored professionally?

 

It doesn't have the tank. Someone has put a fuel cell in it. Thanks for the reply.

You will not likely find a reproduction or a new tank.

 

As many questions as we're getting about these tanks, time to sticky the part number and start pressuring Fusick to repop them since they fit 61-64. Hey, they've done them for the one-year-only 1958, and I'm bound to think there are more 61-64 big cars than there are 58s.
