1964-77 Sheetmetal For Sale Updated 09/2017

Lou, I've got a 1965 drivers side quarter panel. Here's a link to the thread with pictures. I sold the white panel to another member on this site and he's got it on his 1965 convertible now.

Louis, I have a Cutlass S quarter panel but I'm not sure if the wheel well lip is the same as the Supreme. I've got a friend who restored a 1972 Cutlass convertible. It had rust in the wheel well openings and a local shop cut parts out of a front fender to splice in. I don't know what length of it matched, but it shouldn't be hard to find a front fender with rot in the heel but good metal around the wheel well.
Anybody else use parts of a front fender to fix a quarter panel? John

Cool no worries, thanks for the reply.
Are fenders expensive to ship across the country? Mine are actually in pretty nice shape, all except for about 4 inches on the bottom. Do you think it's worth it to buy a chineasium patch panel and just fix them up for now? I figure if i can fix a cowl section then i can fix a fender

Good morning Tony
Shipping fenders through Greyhound bus lines is pretty reasonable. If you just have a small area of the skin to replace you might try makeing your own patch before buying Chinesium panels. If you don't have some extra scraps around I could cut some pieces from an old hood or door for you. A little dolly work to get the right shape and weld that puppy in! John

Cool! I'll have to take a closer look to see where the actual damage is.
Currently my lower fenders are actually repaired with old 486 computer panels (They have an anti-rust coating on them

Speaking of doors, i might need your help with a door patch if you have an extra door handy. Let me take a coupke pictures and post them this afternoon.
I appreciate the help,
-Tony

Tony, please send me pictures of your door. I think we discussed this a while back but lost track of our communications. It could have been my busy schedule and bad memory

OK, I'll get pictures and approx. shipping costs for the 1965 fenders, 1970 fenders and yes I have several 1971-72 rear bumpers. I'll get some pictures and prices for that too. jrmandryck, if you'd send me your zip code I'll get a shipping estimate for you too.

oldstata, I've got fenders in different conditions and have posted pictures of two of them. The greenish one would be $100 plus shipping, the tan one would be $200 plus shipping. Attached are a couple pictures and you can go to the photobucket site to view more pictures. I still need to photograph the bumper and post it. Let me know what price range your looking for based on the condition of the two different fenders.

Tom, just to make sure, your wanting the 1970 fenders without the bumps correct? Or are you open to 71-72 as well?
jrmandryck, here's a bumper that I'd sell for $40 plus shipping. Solid core, OK daily driver. Let me know if this is good enough for what you want. More pictures on my photobucket site.

The ones I have just the nose has been tagged so the green ones will be good as long as the front nose has no major damage I can peice the two together .is it 100.00 for both and what do you think shipping would run ?
#101
oldstata, that price would be per each fender. But if you just need the nose it would be good to find a set of fenders with rot at the heel. Then the seller could cut off just the part you need and save on shipping. I do have a set of 1964's like that, but they have a slightly different ridge at the top of the nose. If this is for a 442 or something that's all original you'll probably want to stay all 1965. If its a driver I can send you pictures of the 1964's. If you want to stay all 1965 I'd encourage you to create a parts wanted post describing how much/what part of the fenders you need. John

Hi Tony
Are you looking to replace the doors then? Do you need just the shells, or the window parts inside? I was going through fenders for another member last weekend, I'll try to send you some photos of those as well. John

I was hoping you guys could help me out with deciding what to do
![Confused](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
I can imagine shipping a whole door from the west coast might be pricy...

OK, I know I've got a drivers door with damage by the handle, but I believe the rest is very nice. If you want to try patching yours I know that would be a good one to cut up. John
#108
If i remove the door for further inspection, is it hard to realign it afterwords?
#109
Sorry it took me a while to respond... Yes i will be looking for 70's only. Reason is because it is for the Rallye and i would like to get as close to matching as possible. Might be able to just replace what is rusted through on it but i havent been able to look at a detail on the inside of it...

Hey John,
Hope you had a good week, just wondering if you will have a chance this weekend to see if you have that handle-damaged door candidate?
I've been looking at my fenders, I "think" i might be able to make a patch that will work. Never know until i try!

Here's three doors I'd be comfortable cutting patches out of. All three have damage to the skins, but look to have solid bottoms. The green passengers side is pretty wrinkled, I'll keep looking for another pass side with less damage but still something I'd be willing to cut up. Two are the drivers side, one the pass. I'm posting a couple photos here but took lots of pictures of each and have them on my photobucket site: http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...Cutlass%20442/

Hi Tom
I think all the drivers side fenders I have would need some patch work done to them. But I know I've got some with good supports behind the skin. Would that work for you? If so, I'll get pictures of the best ones I can come up with. John
