Wow Talk about dredging up old threads. Have you ever thought about a pm?

thought about it, but thought I would try a thread I found after doing a search that addressed it. why, is there something wrong with using an existing thread?

SnakeBit, here's one I have that's available. It does have bumps where rust needs repaired at the heel. The backside shows a good support. I can provide more pictures if you'd like. Send me a PM if you'd like to discuss price/shipping. John

a pm goes to one person. a thread allows many to see and then you have more possibilities to get what you are looking for.

funny, sometimes you put out something you want or need to know and people say, did you search for it? then when you do and then they wonder why you are using that thread. can't win.

64 Olds Radiator & Pass Door

I have seen several threads that you have posted 64 Olds parts. Can you help me with a used Radiator that isn't to damaged, my Radiator is brass and copper, and has transmission cooling lines at the bottom and a Passenger door for a Jetstar 1 1964 two door, I had a wreck that put a big gash, and the door still opens? Can you give the estimate for shipping? The most important thing to me is the door, if you want to put them in order. I wouldn't be able to drive to you. - Russell/394Olds64JS1

brick, I believe I have them in good shape, but it will be a week or two before I can dig them out and get photos for you. If you can wait please send me a reminder in about a week. If your in the middle of a project and need to get parts sooner then try creating a parts wanted thread. John

The quarters in this thread have been sold. But I have another car with light rust at the bottoms. I can try to get some photos for you. Are you just needing the lower patches or entire quarters? John

I would like an entire pass side, but I could work with less. Maybe even from a clean 4 door

I need lowers and trunk drops for both sides.

OK, it will likely be a week or more before I can get the details on them.

I need the rear trunk filler panel (the one between the rear window and trunk) for my 1965 f85 4 door. Do you have a solid one available?

Daniel, I'll need to look and see if I have that panel available. I'm pretty sure I've got some 1965 Cutlass radios, I'll dig one of those out and post pictures for you. John

Hi Daniel
I've come up with a panel but it may not be large or good enough for you. When I cut the quarter panels off I cut the ends off this panel too. The windshield channel is good, but the channel for the trunk seal is rotten. The external suface looks good, no rust or dents, but the backside does have rust scale on it. I believe the backside can be cleaned up, the rust treated, and still used. But I don't know what area your car needs replaced. Please review the photos and let me know if you have any questions, then let me know if your interested in the panel. John

I'll get back to you this weekend, I need to find out exactly which parts of my panel is bad. Also some other parts of the car are rusty. I might end up needing some door parts too.
I'll keep you updated

Yes, I've got three of them. The best one has pits under the battery box area but no rust through. The other two have rust holes that would need repaired. Here's some pictures I took of the best one last summer.

I'm restoring a 67 442 hardtop. At the bottom of the rear window the sail panel is rotted out on both sides. One of your pics shows a yellow 67 Cutlass. Are you parting that car out. Could you quote me on both sail panels. The sizes I need are from the bottom of the rear window is ( 6 inches up the window, 6 inches across the rear deck and 6 inches back on the rear deck and 4 inches up the sail panel. Can you help. Thanks Bob

Bob, sorry but I left that portion of the sail panels on the quarter panels when I sold them. I know Larry (lemoldsnut on this site) has had a lot of 1966-67 cars. You might check with him to see if he has a car with bad lower quarters but solid in the area that you need. John

Sorry I took a little while, school is pretty intense right now. I think my 65 4-door has too many small patches of rust for an entire panel to be worth it. I think I'm just going to try my hand at forming sheetmetal
I do need a few small parts though, mainly for the interior:
1. Front upper headliner u-moulding (rubber stuff at top of windshield and headliner)
2. Rear headliner u-moulding
3. Rear parcel tray/speaker cover - 4 door specific
4. Those vinyl panels between the rear door and the rear windshield - white vinyl/4 door specific
5. And finally, the hot air hoses/housing for the 2bbl carb
The interior was originally brown with white headliner, so any of the above components should match so long as they are either black or some shade of brown/tan.
Let me know what you have, Thanks,
Daniel A
