Unfortunately John the only way I know is insert key with a paperclip in small hole beside key, rotate key CCW to leftmost position, then while pushing in on paperclip rotate a little farther left & key should go near horizontal position and the cylinder pulls out, then just back the retainer off. Unless you don't have the key....then? Never got one out with out a lot of drilling & swearing. Locksmith time?

Thanks Paladin, I guess I'd better look a little harder to see if I have the key!

I speak from firsthand on [what appears to be]that same dash, 67 Delta 88 custom. Fought & fought even with key, finally WD-40 prevailed. A keymaster might have some magic but anyone who's worked on them in the day would be what 80?

I agree, I think you have to have the key. And then you need a 4 prong antenna/bezel but remover. I guess let me know if you have the key. If I have to pay high shipping , I guess it is what it is. I need it. Do you happen to have the correct 4 barrel air cleaner for this car? Might up the shipping some but make it a bit more worth while.

I don't have the air cleaner available so if you still want the ring but don't need the rest of the panel, how about I cut the ignition switch out with a sawzall? Kinda hate to cut up an instrument panel, but I've got two and have offered them up for sale several time in the past few years. If it's just the ignition switch and the metal panel around it shipping should be much less than the whole panel. If that would work for you, send me a PM with your email address and I'll take care of it this weekend. John

Are you needing the A head with the V code stamped in it? If not, any A head off a 400 or 425 would work. I may have one available or you might find one closer to your location and be able to save on shipping. Send me a PM with your shipping address if you want a price quote of purchase plus shipping costs. John

Sorry to drop out of sight for a few weeks. I had surgery to replace my knees the beginning of Feb and although the surgery went well it will be several more weeks before I'm mobile enough to play in the garage. If you've not found what you need by say late March please get back in touch with me again. John

I'm looking for passenger side (left) eyebrow molding, and c-molding for same fender that mirrors eyebrown pattern except on side of fender. I have 64 F85 and trying to piece together the molding lost or damaged.

THANKS!

Outside Mirror Mounting Plate

Would you happen to have an outside mirror mounting plate for the 1967 Cutlass/Toronado non-remote mirror?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Guys
I've likely got many of the items you need but will be unable to play with the car stuff for another month or so. I had knee surgery the first of Feb and am still working on getting well. If you haven't created a parts wanted thread yet I'd encourage you to give it a try. There's a lot of members here with spare parts that might respond to your request. John

72 cutlass

In case I haven't asked yet, Do you have the rod that goes between the hood release latch and the bell crank. # 404927 or #406518. The second one is shorter and correct for my locking hood latch but I would take the longer one (#404927 for a standard non locking hood release latch) and I will shorten it if you have one. Thanks.

Yes, I've got some core supports with hood latches still on them. I'm sure I could come up with the non-locking hood rod. How soon do you need it? It may be a couple more weeks before I'm mobile enough to dig this out.

No hurry

I got a new hip a while back so I know its best to wait till your ready to get back to it. Let me know when you get ready and I will buy one. P.S. If you have any of the nylon retainers that the hood release handle goes through to prevent rattling I need one of those (and another member on here is looking for a retainer too).

Parts for a 70 Cutlass S

Wondering if you have a front bumper for a 70 Cutlass S car? The chrome does not need to be in good condition since I'll be painting it to match the car. Also, do you have a trunk lid? Let me know. Thanks!

Hi Pete
Yes I have some 1970 front bumpers. Sorry I don't have a trunk lid at this time. It may be a couple weeks before I'm physically able to package and ship a bumper. If you can wait please send me a PM or email as a reminder.

Here's an old thread, but I still have most of these bumpers.

sbceater, sorry I'm not well enough to lift/package a crankshaft yet.

1964 Olds f85 on DUB's, that's a long name! It sounds like you've got a 4 door or wagon? I may have what you need but it will be a few more weeks before I'm mobile enough to seriously get into the car stuff.

For both of you guys, if you haven't created a parts wanted thread yet I'd encourage you to give it a try. Also, include your general location, nearest big city and state/province. Hopefully someone within driving distance will have what you need. If you totally strike out send me a PM or email around the first of April. I hope to be well enough and fully mobile by then.

I probably do, but will have to look around to see if I can locate them. There should be two if I'm thinking of the right rods they're what keeps the trunk lid up when it's opened, correct?

I know I've got 1966-67 Toronado intakes, but by your name it sounds like you need one that fits an Olds 88 engine. I've got some complete engines but don't think I have any loose intakes. I believe that both 1966 and 67 intakes would interchange for your application.

I've got most of those items, but shipping from the west coast to the east coast will add to the costs. Have you tried some of the east coast guys or even mid-west to see if they have what you need?

I find it helpful to include your location or at least the nearest large city plus state/province your located in. I put mine under my name. Who knows, there may be someone within driving distance who has what you need.
