Hello LMHConcepts
I've got those items but shipping very far would be expensive. Please post your location. John

John- Any luck with the kick-down switch? I responded to your PM, but I'm not sure I sent it correctly. I am interested in giving it a try here. Thanks! Jim

Hello Jim
Work's been more hectic than normal, which has been pretty bad this summer! I'll try to get it shipped this weekend and send you a note when it's on it's way. John

I could use a drivers side valve cover for a '65 330
with a hole for a PCV. Can you help me out?

Jim, kickdown switch is on it's way.

Darryl, I pulled a set of sienna ones but discovered one of them is coming unglued. Check out the photos at the bottom and tell me what you think.

Snowdog, I've got a lot of valve covers, I'll dig around this weekend to see if I have one with the pvc hole that matches the 1965 with no hole.

Dan, I was looking at the seats today. If I were to strip the covers, padding, etc and ship only the springs and frames it would bring the shipping down quite a bit. Whats your thoughts?

Charlie, I'm working on your list.

FTW65W29 I'll try to get to the other parts car today.

wazoo, I haven't heard back from you. Will any of the parts I posted help you?

Darryl, if they will work for you how about $10 plus shipping? Please send me a Private Message with your address and I'll come up with shipping costs. John

parts

John

Sorry for the lapse. I found an umblemished radio so I'm set there. I still need the '75 left side dash piece if you can find it. If not, I take the '77 one you showed in pix. The difference is in the placement of the clock in those years. Let me know. I sure do appreciate it.

Wazoo, I'll keep looking for the correct 1975 piece.

harleyrules, I may have a late 1960's passengerside mount. I believe it would fit and function, but would not look like the one used in 1964. So let me know if your looking for one that looks correct for that year or just one that will work on the passengerside.

Charlie, the items I'm striking out on are the 1968 choke coil (one year only I believe) and the AC hoses. I believe I have everything else and will try to get some photos for you in the next couple evenings.

Snowdog, I do have the valve cover you need. I'll try to get photos of it for you in the next couple evenings.

Dan, it may be the weekend before I can get the seats stripped down to the frames and boxed up to ship.

Darryl, I'll try to get the straps in a box the next couple nights after work.

Thanks for being patient with me guys... I enjoy my job but right now I'm getting a little too much of a good thing

1965 Rear Body Panel

Sorry Ralph, I took these pictures a couple weeks ago but didn't get them posted. I think these are the body seams you are talking about, then a cut across the top just under the tail lights from side to side. Does this look correct to you? I'm thinking you don't need the portions where the frame mounts attach, or the section where the tail lights are. John

Do you have a rust free lower windshield section for a 1972 Cutlass? Don't need alot of it maybe a 15" section right in the middle.

Welcome to the site rumblewagen! I probably do, but since your spot is so small I've heard of people just taking a piece of sheetmetal off a door or hood, then bending it to the right shape and welding it on. John

P.S. 455, 6 speed, 3.73 posi, sounds like a fun car to drive!!!

Yeah, the hand fabricated route has been considered, even though the rust area is small it has gone all three directions in the area where the firewall meets.

Lets just say it can be a hand full

smoke, I have one that isn't rusty but the lock has been punched. I may have another one but I'll have to dig around and see. Also, if you didn't know the 4 door Cutlass from 1970-72 used the same deck or trunk lid.

1970 Olds Cutlass parts

Jon

I am looking for the stud and washer and nut and bracket for the TCS switch off the intake manifold of a 1970 Cutlass .

I am also looking for the bolts off the front fender liner that have the big flat washers on them.... I could use six of them if you have them

wj67442, sorry I don't have the items you need. I believe there are people on this site who do and suggest you look through the parts for sale in the last 12 months and/or post a parts wanted ad for them to reply to.

Bobsw32, I guess I'm confused, I thought the TCS valve was the tree with the multiple vacuum ports on it. Can you describe the item you need and where it's attached to the intake? I do have the fenderwell bolts.

scott_442, the stock valve covers would have been the notched ones. They're scarce and more spendy than others. Are those the covers your looking for? I should have the hose bracket but will have to look around.

455 Valve covers

whatever you have that will fit...don't have to be notched. Where/why were they notched anyway?

Scott, the valve covers had a sloped corner so that you can remove it without loosening the brake booster on the driver side, and to clear the AC condensor on the passengerside. So other covers will fit, but be a problem to remove. John
