John,
Thanks for the quick reply. I could use a good black dash. What color and condition is the one you have. Thanks again.

Thanks for the tip. However, the seller states that his switch only works with the TH400 tranny and will not work with the two-speed Jetaway tranny. I looked closely at his pictures and saw that the mounting bracket appears to be different than mine. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jim

James, the buick dash is just the chrome insert with the gauges and such. I can pull it out of the rafters and take some pic's if you'd like.

Jim, if the 2 speed and TH400 used different ones then I probably have one available. I need to test it still but was keeping a nice one from the 1966 as a spare for my 1967 442, but it has a TH400 instead of a 2 speed. I'll try to test it in the next few days and let you know the results. John

Hello Michael
I have a hood but that would be difficult to ship. I have a set of grill panels in a parts for sale ad I posted last weekend. Are you looking for the headlight surrounds, headlight buckets, or some other part of the assembly? John

I live in Idaho, I could just cruise over a pick it up. I need everything for the front of the car. Right now I have a bumper on it from a 68 along with the headlights hood and grill. I hope to restore it fully to a 69 so I need everything.

69OldscutlassS, that would be a road trip. But if you can't find something closer I can take photos of what I have.

Chris83, sorry I don't think I have anything that would work for you. If you like the rear air spoiler on the Vista Cruiser I believe the Buick Sport wagon may have had it too.

Charlie, yes I have the filter mount. But in case you didn't know the 350 and 455 used the same one. I believe the 330 and 425 may also be the same. The only wild card is the Toronado motors have one that angles forward maybe 45 degrees. If you still need it this weekend I can dig one out for you. Did you come up with center caps for your wheels yet?

Hardrider442, I'm afraid the only 1964 rear bumper I have is badly dented. It would have to be straightened and rechromed.

John

parts

Hello John,

This is wazoo inSouth Carolina. I have a '75 Olds Cutlass Supreme and am in need of the following:

1) original am/fm stereo radio, can be 8-track but not necessary. Just a stereo unit, not mono.

2) Cruise, clock and defogger switches and assemblies, wiring.

3) Nice matching fake -wood dash trim plates for center dash unit and wiper unit.

Any help?

Wazoo, I have some of those items and will try to pull them together and take photos for you this weekend.

Charlie, I'll get an oil filter mount for you this weekend too.

hobbsgregory, sorry I don't have one at the moment. If you haven't yet you should post a parts wanted ad here and one on the site called:
http://www.73-77olds.com/index.php
But also post your city and state as shipping a door could be pretty spendy. John

Do you have the left side radiator core support panel? This is the panel that bolts under the bottom of the core support in front of the fender well.

Back Seat for a 1964 Cutlass SC

Hi John-
I posted in the wanted section, but no replys yet. Any chance you have a back seat frame for a 1964 Cutlass Sport Coupe? I know shipping would be a hassle (& $$$), but I need a seat. Any help appreciated.-Dan

Parts

Wazoo
I'll try to get some photos for you this evening. I have a 1977 442 parts car with the cruise control, if the dash panels are the same as 1975 I have them. I pulled an AM/FM radio out of a 1975 Cutlass, not sure if it's stereo or mono and I don't know if it works. I also have an AM/FM radio I pulled from a 1973 Olds 98 that I tested and it does work, but I don't know if it fits into your dash. Any thoughts?

64 Cutlass, I need to verify the one in my project car is good before I get rid of the one in my parts car. I'll try to take care of that soon.

1973, 75 or 77 parts

Wazoo, here's some pictures of the 1977 Dash portion and the 1973 radio. If these won't work I'll dig through some boxes this weekend to see if I still have the ones from the 1975 Cutlass. John

I need them in blue which is probably impossible but I'll take them in any color and dye them to make them match! The cars original color is code 24 nordic blue so it's gonna be a bit different once I get it painted!

Daryl, I know I have some door panels in the rafters of the garage. It may be the weekend before I can crawl up there to see what I have, but I'll let you know what I find. John

Looking for a parking brake light switch for the brake on a 65 f-85. Any photos of how to mount would be appreciated. There doesn't seem to be a hole to mount on the side of the switch.

64 Cutlass,
I just took a bunch of pictures of the extra 1964 Cutlass rear seat. The one from my parts car was better so that's the one I'll use. I believe this one is also usable but it does have some rust. Check out the photos on my photobucket site and let me know what you think. I can take closeups of any areas you want me to. John

Seat looks good to me. I guess it depends on what($) you need for it, and how much it will be to ship (to 75110) from Oregon(?) Any idea on weight?-Thanks Dan

Hello Dan
How does $40 sound for purchase price for the back seat? I'll work on a package size/weight and try to get some shipping cost estimates. Greyhound bus lines may be the cheapest. John
