Get a load of this paint job

Parts car I just picked up. This baby is parked in my driveway. It actually stops traffic.

All it needs now is a 75 impala bumper on the front, plates welded on the door seams, and some upside down headers coming out of the hood.

Camo works ok until you get to the red wheel. That's probably what's stopping the drivers on the street

I like it!

I guarantee if you drove it, you'd have the only one in town!

My kids named it the Watermelon. It's a conversation piece at the very least.

Once you get past the dizzy paint job it looks like some nice parts. I really like the 1970 sport mirrors you got with it John

Despite the far out paint job it looks very restorable. What are your plans? Any good options?

Im not sure yet. I still have a 1971 442 project to complete that I just started. The '70 S will sit for a while. The paint will be stripped and the car primered before going into hibernation or I may sell it at that point.

That's when I think do my best work but I forgot.

Come up with a zero and it could be turned into 420 clone.

you should put some solid red american welding rims or whatever there called and then put black lugnuts on them. Dont know if they make green tires but hey. I say +1 to keeping it with that paint scheme
