Just purchased a 66 old convertible with no ac controls. Just purchased one and don't know which holes go where( they are all black and others have green red and white stripes. also, which cables hook to which control.

 

Your next purchase should be a 1966 Olds factory chassis service manual. All this info is in there. Get an original copy, not a reprint or CD/digital copy; those lose too much detail. The shop book covers all series- 88/98, Cutlass/442, and Toronado.

After you get your a/c control functioning, the service manual covers just about any service or repair you'd need to do on your Olds.
