The A/C is easy enough with aftermarket kits. Very curious how you are going to hide the wipers and get the right sweep and function. I don't think there will be another Omega like your car on the road.

fixing the roof!

In order to get the dent out and to achieve reasonable stability in the roof, the reinforcement is cut out, the roof sheet is shaped and then stiffness is brought back to the sheet metal with many welds in a beautiful pattern. Then the cross is straightened and shaved and welded back in again.

and the hours count and count

Test painted the trunk lid with 2 results!

1)The color gm pacific blue GA0 is very close to the original paint code 29 eclipse blue and is an awesome color!

And 2) the paintjob must be done by a pro in an professional environment! even I have done it in a clean and heated room, much too much dust enclosed!

You are very ambitious to take on an engine swap and overhaul along with major body work, looking great so far👍.

Thank you.

I do have some help!

Body work is mainly done by a mate who runs a body shop business

Great project! Love the OHC motor! If I'm looking at your pics correctly you might have the brake shoes on wrong. The shoe with the shorter lining goes towards the front, the long one towards the back.

Thank you!

according to the service manual the brake shoe with the longer lining should be opposite to the adjuster lever - which would be correct for both sides
