Trying to locate a sample of a decal that would have been on the driver's side valve cover.
The glue from the decal is the only remnant.
Also where would the engine code decal be affixed??? for example this engine would be a 'UA' so I have the decal no idea where it goes...?
Anyone know or have a picture???
Thx

Yes I did. They have decals for older years not 1972.
I did see one for 'Canadian Cars' that could fit that spot but my car was built at the Linden Plant in NJ and shipped with a batch by train to the Humberview Dealership in Toronto Ontario Canada, I doubt an American built car would have a sticker like that? I have never seen one of these on a 72 Olds or any other year.
Was it one of these Canadian oil change decals? I know they had them for several years, but don't know when they started or stopped using them. That's the only decal I can recall during that era.
Eureka...! I knew I saw this someplace... pulled out the 73 Cutlass Assembly Manual... and these two images explain it.
The Valve Cover item is in fact the Canadian Export Oil Change Decal...
The other shows where the Two Letter Engine Code decal goes onto the Oil Filler Tube...
See below...
I answer my own question and learned something new today lol...
