Z49 Mandatory Canadian Base Equipment Modifications

Anyone know what this consisted of? I can't find any good info. I am pretty sure CDN cars had a white decal on the valve cover that said Engine Oil Recommendations or something like that though. This one was built in Lansing.

It means that there is a Canadian Warranty, Canadian stickers, Canadian Owners Manual in English or French and Canadian Certification by the CMVSS (Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) which fell (falls) under the MVSA (Motor Vehicle Safety Act).

Ken's got it.
My car was also Lansing-built and sold new in Canada with Z49 coded on my paperwork. Even though it's supposed to have the valve cover oil requirements decal I have not put it back because it's huge and hideous IMO and I don't want it covering my beautiful valve cover .
