NICE! It's not everyday you see a frame-off on a Ninety Eight. I did one on my '76 and was quite a job. I also love that you're doing a '74....not enough of these cars around. I've always liked this year.

It is a pretty big job. I did mine when the car completed gutted, no body parts, interior, etc and I had it on 6"x6" railroad ties and cement blocks and I was still pretty nervous putting the body up in the air like that. This was years ago...I swore I'd never do it again but now that I'm more experienced, I'd have a much easier time doing it again.....next project!

thanks for comments, the body is going into garage for the winter.need to repair 2 rust spots on roof at top of a pillar, also need to repair 3 rusted spots on frame [out lined with yellow marker.the eng is to the garage on a stand completed disassembled, hopeing to build it this winter, may be looking for a set of .030 over pistons, getting the body into garage maybe kind of tricky I'll take pic of set up when I figure it out.

Wow, good job rigging it up for the move. I hate to be the guy to ask but, why didn't you lift the body off the frame with the car already in the garage? Was there not enough clearance to get the body high enough to pull the frame out?

Nice move! Kinda like watching the move of the Cape Hatteras lighthouse...
Sure is nice looking up there in Canada.
That bear cub seems to get along well with the dog.
Keep the progress pic coming!
