I put a few things on ebay last week and sold 5 out of 7 items. Last summer I put 10 items on and didn't sell any so I'd not bothered since then. I'm hoping things are coming back Cross your fingers the economy turns around soon!

Yea the economy is definitely playing a part.

One thing that always seems to weather a bad economy tho unfortunately ... is time wasters.

Not so much an issue on here .....

But I've had a few deals elsewhere that should have happened that just fell apart for no reason.

I have to be honest, I have been trying to clear out FREE G body interior parts for about a year. HOWEVER no one wants to pick it up OR pay shipping...

Good luck to ya.

shipping prices have increased like crazy in the last couple years...not to mention added fuel surcharges etc

a relevant example is I had a load of stone delivered a couple years ago delivery was $50 (3 miles from the plant) same scenario this year delivery was $90 plus $9 fuel surcharge 100% increase....its not shipping but same difference only shipping hasnt increased 100%

I can say this:
Scott (PackRat) has always treated my fairly----actually BETTER than fairly and NO, he didn't pay me to say that!!!
Honestly, he is great to deal with, good prices, genuine descriptions, and timely shipping. Everybody is feeling the economic downfall and the "toys" are the last to see the extra cash.
Jensen77 is another great source for honesty in descriptions, quality, and pricing.
C'mon guys, spend some pennies and save some dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One suggestion is to expand your payment options. Not everyone wants to use (or will even touch) 'paypal' so stating thats the only option makes them run away (it does for me anyway).
Money orders and checks can be safely accepted with a 10 day hold for clearance (state that in the ads).
Just giving a buyer's opinion...

Point taken about the PP.

Hadn't even thought of that in awhile.

Might be time to go PayPal preferred but not a deal breaker for those that don't use it.
