This is actually a re-introduction as I have been a member here for several years. I thought when I retired I would have plenty of time to finish my project but with all the honey-dos I had put off and then life getting in the way I have not made much progress. To summarize, I have a 67 442, 4spd, 3.91 posi. with a decent running G block. Tho I don't know it's history the engine is solid, good oil pressure, no smoke and very clean looking under the rocker covers so I assume it was rebuilt before I got it. Previous owner(s) had added Hookers, Edelbrock OBII with 650 Holley, and hei. I restored it as 'owner installed' track pack using an original air shroud I had saved for over 40 yrs. I have a rebuilt E block ready to install. I will be going back stock on intake/quadrajet and ignition and Gardner exhaust. Also plan to upgrade to disc brakes so I will be asking a lot of questions of you guys. OK time to get busy and back on track!

 

I can understand about not enough time. It sounds like you've got a sound plan and really good car to change up to your liking. Good Luck and welcome...back.
