The car looks a bit weathered but it appears to be complete, which really helps as you don't have to go parts searching for a lot of small things.
I’ve always wondered if the desert cars with vinyl tops suffered the same fate as similar cars in other areas. Or does the desert heat dry the water up sufficiently. My car is also a minimal rust desert car, but it’s a convertible.

The front end of the car looks like it's had a minor collision at some point. The grills and headlight bezels are from 1971 model year. And such luck with stripping the vinyl - the sun looks like it's done most of it for you. Would you consider putting new vinyl or going with a 2 tone paint job?

There's no real issue with rust, if that's what you're asking, but the intense sun and heat causes all of the non-metal (and non glass) parts to deteriorate. Think of how much of a car is not metal, and all of that deteriorates in the sun.
