New guy with a '51 Olds 98 Holiday Coupe
Hi, I'm new!
I've had this car in the garage for 4 years, and getting started on it this fall now that I have some other projects 95% done (you know, usable, but with a conscience-nagging punch list).
I'm planning to get pretty close to original look inside and out, but with a little more power, and disc brakes to go along with it. A few other practical concessions: going to 12v, and probably walking away from point ignition. Also with 12v, I'm replacing the hydraulic power windows with electric (fronts are done, still thinking about geometry and access in the back). The original radio is toast, and I'll hide a 12v sound system too. I don't expect to use a radio much anyway, as I'm looking forward to hearing my sweet Rocket fly.
Pretend it's not covered in sawdust, and the garage is clean.
