The car is nice.. sorta. it was parked between a garage and half under a tree. so it had some rust under the vinyl top and one quarter. I patched it up the best i could at the time and painted it (about 7 or 8 years ago) its starting to come back tho. the interior is mint except for some fading where it wasent protected from the sun.

Hi uys, my name Is danielle i have a 1970 cutlass superme hoilday sedan it has a rocket 350, as of right now thats all i know about the car.it was givin to me by my boyfriend, actually i saved it from being sold to the junk man for 100$. i absoulety love the car...and i cant wait to see it come back to life

Hello everyone. My name is Nick and I am from Wisconsin. I am 24 and in my final year of college. If all goes well I'll have a B.S. in accounting. Currently, my dad, sister, and I are finishing up a 1971 Buick Skylark and 1970 Pontiac Lemans. I found this site because I recently purchased a 1974 Olds Omega and will need some advice!!!

i just wanted to hello
My name is Trampas, and i get this alot, yes Trampas is my real first name. I just bought a f85 64 olds. Man, she is a sweet ride. it has a 350 small block in it. Im new to the world of cars my experience in the learning curve in small (just a couple years). I do come from a long line of car guys from my mothers side but I never really knew my mother until a couple of years ago. I was rised by my dad who was really never there. any how. my olds has a sunroof and many people say that the sunroof makes the car look bad, I like and its going to stay until i say so. the car i have i bought for 3500 and it runs like a dream i was thinking of painting it black. what do you think?

Hey everyone!
Just joined up and have enjoyed looking through all the info here.
I have a Viking Blue 72 CS 350/350 with about 130k orig miles. It is all original and a little tired. My aunt was the second owner in 74 after the car came from NM (no rust to speak of since it has lived in the desert its whole life). I needed a car, and my aunt needed some money so I became the new owner in 02 and she was my daily driver till 05. I saw the prices of gas going up and parked her. I resurrected her in 07 and again in 08 and now that I am in my own house and have a third car garage I plan to start on a laundry list of projects.
Fortunately AZ law doesn't require emissions testing with proper registration and that makes things a lot easier. I plan on fixing its saggy suspension first, then working through the drivetrain to freshen things up.
I look forward to contributing to the forum and picking the brains of the amazing knowledge base here.
I noticed there are a lot of vets here and I just wanted to express my gratitude for your service to our country, I know that it is often a thankless job, but we all owe a lot to you!

Welcome to the site "Big Blue" I drove on some of route 66 on my trip bringing my 48 Olds home went through both NM and AZ. Great country for cruising. Lots of great guys on this site to help you with any questions during your restoration. Good luck

big blue 72, rear suspension has cropped up before with the early seventies Cutlass cars. Most notably with an un-even or crooked appearance, we have seen some posts about this in the past. Don't forget to check your brakes while you have the wheels off doing the suspension.

Hey guys! Thanks for the warm welcome! I look forward to getting to know you all. I am 24 and I am busy working on my new home and I am starting on my MBA in March so time will be tight, but I look forward to spending my free time with you all.
Thanks for the tip, I should check them out as I put them on about 3 years ago. It does sag on the driver's side a bit, but I just thought it was due to my obese and worthless uncle who drove it before I got it 
(just messin).
Yeah, I love AZ lots of open roads outside the Phoenix metro area. In town, there is just a lot of asphalt. Thanks for the warm welcome!
I have actually spent quite a bit of time ol' route 66! We have some property in a small town called Parks in northern AZ. We go camping there and I used to always walk/drive down the 66 to the general store to get candy. My 72 has never seen the ol' 66, but I hope to get her there someday.

Hi my name is nate im 30yrs old from Grand Rapids MI. I have owned a cutlass ever since I could drive started with a 75 my grandmother gave me. Then I had a 79 that I bought from a friend ,but most recently I bought a 70 f85 I already took out the 350 and put in a 455. Looking forword to helping and being helped.

New guy here. I have been an Olds man since 1973 when I bought my Rallye 350(R.I.P.) I currently have a 37 Olds business coupe that I am streetrodding, 69 442 post 4speed, and a 81 Buick Regal w/350 Olds motor that I drag race(11.69@115.5). Looking forward to sharing and learning.

Hi all,
My name is Jon, from South San Francisco, CA. I have a '69 442 that's been in my family since 1982. My oldest brother sort of passed it down; he still has a '70 convertible rotting away in our parents' backyard. I've been slowly rebuilding mine and hope to have it back on the road this year for the first time since 1995. Yes, it's been a while. My brothers were active in the old National 442 Owners Club back in the eighties. Thanks for the great board and very helpful information!

Hi All, I'm Randy Corrigan, and I'm new to this site. I'm a 27-yr USCG veteran and I retired in 2000. I'm 57 years old, married (30+ years) and live in Olympia, WA. I'm a member of OCA and the local South Sound 4-4-2 Club. I was introduced to this site by "wmachine" Kurt. I have a beautifully restored (as of June 2007) 1968 4-4-2 convertible that my dad bought in February 1969 (for $925 and a '67 Cougar that was a piece of junk; the car had 8000 miles on it then) when I was a senior in high school. The car has been in our family since that time. I also have a 1969 4-4-2 convertible that will eventually be restored. My dad bought a 1966 F85 deluxe brand new (330ci 4bbl w/jetaway trans, red on red) just before I got my driver's license and I've been an Olds person ever since. It's the same way with my brother, who is 1.5 years younger than me and owns a '68 4-4-2 hardtop. Both my brother and I are "original" type people; we like our cars to be as close to assembly line original as possible. I'm not real adept at using computers - I'd attach a picture of the car if I could but, as of yet, I haven't figured that out! It's great to be aboard!

Hi!!
My name is Paul, im 29 (soon to be 30). I grew up in an olds family riding in my "Fathers Oldsmobile"!! Like my father, Ive had a many of olds, a 73 442, a 74 s cutlass, 79 regency 98 (yes it was my fathers oldsmobile!!) 95 ciera. Oldsmobile has been there my entire life.
Last yr i finally had the means to buy my dream, 69 cutlass. Always wanted a 442 but i have a mortgage to pay so i went with something a little more in my means. I found a real nice Holiday on ebay.
Its in real nice shape & like alot of people i wanted something that wasnt perfect so i could really make it mine.
I found this site looking for answers about how to get the speedometer gauge out & without even posting a thing i found the answer. After that i knew i had to join cause i realized that im not the only one that has this passion for Olds.
I looking forward to meeting new people & learning alot more about my Cutlass
