This is the 79 I am buying making payments for a total of 850 and I no longer need to pay on the sx so for 1000 bucks I have bought 2 cars this one is just a body the engine not included. No problem I have an engine and trans. My plan is to use all I can and make me an sx clone or semi clone idc lol gonna convert to floor shift and I'm gonna really enjoy the interior its in immaculate condition minus the seat cover on the bench but its on a seat cover no biggie

Looks like a nice car.

This rust isn't part of it, though, is it?

No worry's MD its just a battery tray I'm more concerned about the core support lol and its in great shape before I drop in my stuff after I take out his I'm gonna sand and primer core support and such lol this was his first project before he went into the air force lol but he said it stalls when. You put it in gear because of a vacuum issue but that ain't gonna stop me from driving his 403 up and down my road before I pull it

OK story time folks.......

Well when I left off here for a while I talked the guy down from 1500 to 850 on his 79 omega. From what I see its in far better shape then the last one esp the interior so I jump on it. OK now where do I come up with the money well I parted and sold the SX. I made most my money on the rear seats and hatch stuff. A guy came down from Ohio and bought my whole rear interior and console for 375 I sold gauges heater components and the car so I am up to 750 bucks cool right? Well yes it is I have to sell my bumper and wiper motor to QS442 for 100 my buckets to another guy in Ohio and step plates and various small parts so after its all said and done I'll have made a little over 1000 bucks! That will give me the little bit of needed extra cash to finish the engine. The guy who bought the sx pulled my th350 and will bring it back soon so my ride is almost a dream come true guys I still have yet to thank each and everyone of you for the hours of help and answers of my dumb questions. I should get my car next weekend hopefully and then I can make a video and show you what my money has gotten me.

Sounds like some good wheeling and dealing, Bill.

Does the new car have a V8 or a 6?

Now that's more like it.

Sounds like you did the right thing:
Bought the wrong car, recognized it before you got in too deep, sold it off and made a profit, and now have (what seems to be) the right car.

Projects don't always go straight forward, but this one is going the way it should.

Wow, I don't know how I missed the link. It looks to be a much better candidate than the 1st one.
