can some1 please tell me what this is?!
This is my transmission that is going behind my stock 307. From what I know it is a Th2004R. It came out of a '84 delta 88. I see it has these wires and connecter. WHAT IS IT? And will it work in my non computerized '79 cutlass supreme? Please help

It could be a 200-4r, but judging by how short the pan is in the second photo, I think you have a TH350c. Is the transmission pan square with one corner cut off?
The connector on the side is to control torque converter lock-up. When locked, engine speed drops around 200-300 RPM. The computer controls the lock-up. There are aftermarket kits to control it. The diesel cars have a non-computer method of controlling lock-up, too. Lot's of people run the transmission without the lock-up connected. Some say that can cause damage due to increased heat. I don't see how 200 rpm would make much of a difference.
Ultimately, if you are putting a computer controlled trans into a non-computer application, you might need to install a bracket on your carb to control the TV cable. Some mistakenly refer to it as a kickdown cable, but it does much more than that for transmissions like the 200-4r. If the geometry and adjustment are not right, you will cook the trans in very short order!

If it is a 200c it won't have a vacuum modulator on it just like the 200-4r. It uses a TV cable like Henryk said. You might want to talk to a reputable trans shop in your area,or search online for a shop that does hi-perf builds. I'm sure someone has some kind of switch you can hook up so you can use the lock up feature manually. They put the 200-4r in allot of non-computer controlled musclecars for the overdrive and they, just like your 200c, had provisions for lock-up converters.
