Looking good! You're missing the ground strap between the speedo and the gauge cluster. Can't wait to see more progress!

Installed the Holley Sniper Quadrajet system with Hyperspark and Distributor (the whole shebang) today. Tomorrow i drop the tank to put in the fuel pump

Fitting the Holley to the Bowtie Overdrive Th2004r bracket i had custom made

I found a 14x2 inch filter to allow me to use the fancy Sniper air cleaner lid under the OAI

Mounted the CDi box and coil on firewall

Before I insalled the Holley the Master cylinder is installed and bled! Connected the brake lines up. Need to bleed rest of system once I have car up on jack stands. While it is up I will install HP fuel pump in the tank

Front bumper installed!!

I snapped the passenger side visor support trying to tighten the screw enough that it stopped falling down. Grrrr.

Finished the rear arm rests. I used new foam and recovered them. Also put in rear windows. However i need new rollers. Then then keeping them lowered as they wont stay on regulator. I also cant find box with the arm rest lights. Need to order another set.

Front glass is installed and aligned! It is a little scratched. I can order all new glass later. The rear is clear but front is green. So i will order a new set of all green in future.

The top was soda blasted and pAinted. Looks good. Hard to raise manually but i have not filled the motor yet

It's been a few years (OK, maybe 25) since I worked on mine, but I think there's a nylon insert that can be replaced to provide more friction. I remember I did something to make it work better but can't remember exactly what it was.

i got a new insert. Still flopped around just looking at it. I had to order a new set just to get a new passenger side one. Annoying!

Added my shoulder belts!

The retractors are hidden!

Had some problems with belt alignment. See another thread. This dual groove pulley seemed to do the trick

Installed Polk amp and a kenwood Underseat subwoofer. I dont listen to Rap so this is more than enough.

I put Polk component speakers in kick panels and tweeters in the A pillar

I put some NON component Polks in rear. With 1 inch spacers they do not interfere with frame going up and down. A Previous owner already had holes for speakers in the panel so I had no problem putting them there. If I did it again I would paint them Pearl to hide them.

I used a Long Beach head unit. The Microphone is mounted above the Visors. Has bluetooth. Sounds great!!

This week I did the FULL break IN!!!!

also connected the Transmission pressure gauge and verified pressures for the 2004r. i called them i to BowtieOverdrives who sold me the TV Made EZ system (twice actually I had one for Qjet and then had to get a new one for Holley Sniper) and also bought new custom cooling lines. They look nice and avoid the Headers.

Half hard lines and half stainless custom lines

Getting the top installed. Custom Stayfast Oyster. Not quite as white as a vinyl white but more white than a Stayfast tan top. The Oyster is not easy to find and I think discontinued. Glass window of course.

so the original paint and body guy lost the quarter panel extensions AND the paint. I was able to find some new old ones on Ebay in two different colors. My new paint guy was able to match the color though pretty well. NOW I find out that the new chrome bits that I bought to go on them are wrong ones so need to find some.

Good job. Good for you building the car the way You want it. You will get stopped and talked to so many times once it's done.

I missed some of this earlier. What's up with the zipper above the rear window? Never seen that before.

the rear curtain can be ordered with or without the zipper. With the zipper it makes putting a new section in without having to do a few other things. I went with a glass window

Lets call this “done”

Last thing to do was have the rear pipes rebent and extended out. New Pypes 2.5 inch tips. I had them cut just short of stock because the fit so perfect in the recess. O
