Just wondering if there are a few tips on installing windlace? I pulled one off and I see a strip that it was stapled into that is screwed to the side. Should I remove it then staple the lace in place and re-screw? The new one also has a stiff backer for about a third of the mid section. Is that suppose to hook under clips?
