Need Information on parchment boot for a 69 Cutlass convertible
Hello,
so my 69 Cutlass convertible has the parchment interior from Lengdary Interiors. The only thing missing is a boot for the top and the clips. So I understand it needs 16 clips to install the boot. Legendary has the boot, but no clips. Other websites sell clips for 69 Camaro or other GM cars. Would these also fit on my Cutlass. Could I buy the boot from a vendor which sales the clips and the boot, but in off white or white, and no parchment. The price range goes from 40$ for a set of 16 up to 5$ a piece.
So where would you buy?
Lots of questions, so any hint or answer is welcome.
Thank you,
Tom

If you want to get away from the clips then get the '70-'72 style boot which has plastic bars which slide neatly under the stainless trim around the opening...the parchment for '69 is a little like soft beige and not like '68 parchment which is pearl white...
I already have the boot in pearl with the plasic bar at the bottom, but the bar won't fit all the way underneath the trimline. While talking to a convertible guy he told me the clip system is the right / original way to go. But before I order I wanna make sure that I get the right clips.
