Re installing dashboard

Buying parts off of OPGI, for my 1966 cutlass. So far I have the dash pad, dash housing, cable retainers, and Speedo wire. The nuts I took out were pretty rusty. Is there a specific nut I have to use? Or can I just use any nut that fits from a HF nut assortment. Also where do I find the nuts for the dash housing that holds them together? Is there anything else I need for reinstallation? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know what size nuts were used on your '66, but I bought new flanged 8-32 nuts when I reinstalled the dash in my '72 convertible. You can get these on line or at a local hardware store. The flanges have small ridges that help keep them tight so they don't back off with vibration. Here's a pic (10-32 flange nuts).
