Power vs manual bucket seat

I have the 4 way power driver seat in my '72 Supreme and looking at getting a set of extenders. Are the seat bases the same whether it's a power or manual seat?

If you mean they bolt down the same, yes.

I was thinking the power bucket had some extra support on the rear mount. Maybe three instead of two bolt holes. Will the extender need to bolt to both the front and back of the seat rails? John

By "base" do you mean the bottom of the seat or the mounts on the floor. The seat bottom is the same, but the later power tracks use different front mounting holes than the manual tracks. The rear floor mounts are completely different on a power seat. The power track rear floor mounts are several inches further forward than the manual track mounts.

In the photo below, the red circles show where manual tracks would bolt to the seat bottom. The green circles show where the power tracks bolt to the seat bottom.

I need to know if both the power and manual seats bolt to the floor the same, not where the base bolts to the bottom of the seat.

I showed that in photo 2 in my post. The rear power seat FLOOR mounts are about 3" forward of the manual mounts. The outer rear mount is also 1/2" - 1" lower than the manual outer rear mount so it cannot be easily moved back.

Is there anyone that sells the extenders for a power seat?
