Will power bench seat base work for bucket?

Hi All,

I'm pretty sure I know the answer from some previous posts but want to be sure. I currently have a power bench seat in my '69 442 and want to convert it to a power bucket. Can all the power bench parts be used for this? I do already have the power bucket base; will I need any of the parts from it at all? Thanks very much!

The bench seat tracks and bucket seat tracks are the same for that year. Your most difficult task will be to find the required shorter drive cables. Of course, you will then need a second set of tracks for the other bucket.

Thanks Joe! Can the bench drive cables be used? I've seen power bucket bases with coiled up cables which look long enough to be used with a power bench. The attached photo from an eBay auction shows what I mean. I already have the manual seat tracks for the passenger side. Thanks again!
