Converting to power windows '77 Cutlass

Hi all,

I was wondering if when converting from manual to power windows, does the power window switch fill the "hole" in the door panel left by the manual window crank? e.g. can I avoid replacing the door panel ? I assume the driver side is certainly "long" enough to fill space horizontally, although height might still be an issue.

Thanks!

I did this on a 76 supreme. The switch does cover the hole, the back side on my 76 had a pattern to cut out for the switch.

In my case however, the door panel was slightly abused and you could see a wear pattern from the window handle. It didn't bother me much so I left it as is
