Fuel pump W-30

By mistake I found that the W-30 had a bigger bowl fuel pump than the stock 350,455. Does any body know if the Fuel pressure it puts out is the same as stock?

Go to their website - they list specs.

I don't see why the pressure would be any higher. It's still designed to feed a Q-Jet carb.

The limiting factor for fuel pressure when using a Quadrajet is the area of the needle and seat. Too much pressure will blow the needle off the seat and flood the carb. I believe (but am not certain) that the W-30s used the same needle and seat as other Quadrajets of the same year. So they could not run any higher fuel pressure. If in fact the W-30s used a larger needle and seat (a common performance improvement), they might technically need a lower fuel pressure (though I think there's enough margin with stock pumps that you don't have to worry about it).
