I have a 67 CS that I am changing the all the locks to get the keys the same. I have changed the ignition and trunk locks in the past. My question has to do with the trunk lock. I'm using an a-body generic lock kit. The trunk lock has to be installed 90 degrees clockwise to get the lock body to fit in the trunk lid. The key is horizontal to insert and turned to vertical to unlock the trunk. I don't have any original locks for the car. Is there a new lock body available that would allow the key to be vertical to insert? It works fine but it has always looked odd.
