Hello, I am in need of a clean 1984 trunk lock retainer metal clip. Mine seems to have grown legs and ran away, thanks

 

I searched through my sundry items thinking I had one but apparently I do not. Retainer for 81-88 Cutlass (2door) is GM p/n 20223910. You didn't specifically say it was 2 or 4 door. For 80-87 Cutlass 4 door, it's p/n 20179499. AFAIK, the part number for the 2-door is specific to Oldsmobile Cutlass.

But if you find one, you'll probably need a new gasket too. GM p/n 1718294.
