q-jet carb, need choke
This vendor sells used Qjet choke plates, shafts, etc, but frankly it will be cheaper to buy a complete parts carb.
Here's a picture of the secondary lockout:
the throttle cable ? That's not part of the carb.
from altering a BUNCH of these I recall one big diff on the choke shaft- whether the RH actuating link is smished in place as seen above on the divorced choke carb, or if it is held to the choke shaft by a screw. The two are not interchangeable.
I suggest a complete parts carb and use the entire top, called the air horn. Or get a new air horn if possible.
Do you know the number of the carb you are reviving?
