Patriot side exhaust help

I need help installing my patriot side exhaust pipes to the exhaust manifold.
I read the instructions, and I can't understand how to attach the side exhaust pipes to the intake manifold. Is there some kind of special adaptor? I need help connecting the hook-up kit to the exhaust manifold port.
Thanks.
Have a nice day.
By the way my car is a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass.

Welcome

Welcome aboard

Although I'm rather fond of 69's, I don't have a clue about what you're asking.

Hang in there someone will be right with ya.

I guess I'm not sure what you're asking. If the question is about plumbing the exhaust pipe, there really isn't much to it. You'll need to either fabricate or have made pipes to run from the exhaust manifold ports to the side pipes. Walker Dynomax sells a kit with the bends, but you'll still need to custom make the connection to the Olds manifolds. If you currently have single exhaust, you'll need to remove the crossover pipe between the manifolds and cap the extra hole on the passenger side. The factory did this when dual exhaust was fitted to the small block cars. You can either get a repro of the cap or fabricate one from the end of the crossover pipe and a piece of plate.

Side pipe installation help

I have dual exhaust pipes, and they are cut to the length that I want, but they don't match up with the hook up kit that I bought for the side pipes.
The old pipes are about 2 inches wide, but the new pipes are about 3 inches wide.

All you need is an expander (I don't know if that is what it is actually called). It is just a short length of pipe that will change the pipe diameter from 2" to 3". You can get these at any auto parts store.

Hi, The interior is light green, but the front seat is gold.

So, I think that the front bench seat isn't original, because doesn't match the rest of the interior.
The man that I bought my Cutlass from painted it green and gold.
It's a major project!

Post I'm open to any colors.

I like black or silver, but somebody told me that those colors are hard to piant on a car. I want to paint it like it was originaly. It's going to be an all original car. The original color was lemon. I don't really have any colors picked out yet.
