Does anyone know what the marking on the driver side aft portion of my '69 4-4-2 carburetor base plate (large 9 and small 29) means? I'm wondering if it has any significance with regards to a date code or if they are just some other sort of assembly stamping. I know most of the '68 carburetors like this (7028251) have a complete julian date code on the base plate just forward of where these markings are on my '69 carburetor base plate. But most of the '69 7029251 carburetors are without a manufacturing date code. Please advise if you know what these markings mean.

Cliff does not run a friendly place. Apparently he keeps bad guys out by banning everyone. ???
Cliff usually emails me back at about 5:30 in the morning when he's starting work. I've talked to him numerous times and he's never been anything except helpful

Next time you converse with Cliff, set him straight on the odd/even MT vs AT thing. There are a bazillion D88s and 98s running around with '251 carbs and automatic transmissions. I sent a message to his website once and got crickets.
I joined up, I recently ordered a rebuild kit from Cliff himself, call him and ask him about your ban.
he’s a nice guy, maybe call him then, don’t join his forum. We shot the s#it for a half hour on the phone when I ordered my kit.
you wont find someone who knows carbs better than Cliff.
