Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement

I need some help...I am replacing the Ignition Lock Cylinder on my 67 Cutlass and I can't seem to put the new Ignition Lock in. I can't find a Youtube video on a classic car install of this piece. Any help? I can't turn my car on now

Ok, look for the little hole in the faceplate. I believe you set it to accessory and depress that hole with a paper clip.

battery cable disconnected
ACC position assuming you have a key
then wire [paper clip or similar] into the hole
then turn more CCW a little
Then it should come right out

reverse to install exc. that no wire is needed. Insert positioned farther ccw than ACC, turn CW to snap into place at ACC then all positions should work.
