Getting a new air filter... not sure if what i want will fit my carburator

I have a 1967 Oldsmobile cutlass holiday with original 330 ci and original 2bbl Rochester carb. The filter I'm looking at is designed for 5-1/8" diameter carb... not sure what diameter my carb is or how to find out? I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything. Some help would be appreciated! Filter I'm looking at found here: http://www.opgi.com/p/air-fuel-delivery/3042/309/CH24243.html

You find out by measuring the diameter of the hole in the bottom of your stock air cleaner, which your tape measure will show to be 2 5/8", a long way from 5 1/8". You can get an adapter to allow this air cleaner to fit. Look at Speedway Motors.

I'd buy the $7 air cleaner element over the $120 aluminum air cleaner housing for that low-performance motor, myself, but to each his own...

If I were going to drop $120 on a car, I'd buy a used 4bbl intake and Qjet...

That would make it be faster, Joe, but it wouldn't look any faster.

I'm sure the 8" long chrome exhaust tip I put on my Dad's '57 Chebby in '59 made at least an extra 15-20 HP on the 235 six.... said so in the Honest Charley catalog.....
