1965 Radiator replacement

1965 radiator is different then the 66-67 radiator that we have.

Is there any other radiator that works out there that would fit this car?

I have a corvette radiator from an V8 S10 swap with the transmission cooler built in. I am going to see if it would work.

Just wondered if anyone else knew of a radiator of a similar size from a different car before shelling out $500 for a brand new radiator

i tried like hell to find the right factory replacement radiator for my 65, but no luck. i ended up finding an aluminum radiator with the inlet & outlet in the correct location, plus the built in trans cooler in the bottom tank. i had to remove the lower radiator support and fabricate an new one, and i also made a new upper bracket to hold it snug.

you'll have a tough time finding an original replacement....

i had plenty of places claim they had the right one....however, after going through 4 that were supposed to be correct but never were, i opted to go with the aluminum to reduce weight and improve cooling performance. they were always either too tall, too wide, wrong inlets/outlets, no tranny cooler, etc.
