im trying settle with rocket racing without this geting ugly , rocket racing is offering me 600. 00 of labor . what do you have for trade ? i need bbo parts grides main and for batten heads sfi flywheel thanks for looking

I'm sorry I don't understand what you are saying. Do you mean that Rocket Racing owes you $600 worth of labor? If so, how did this come about? Please explain.

 

i had some work done by rocket racing and they bent my crank they but 600.00 on the table .i my self is just tryin to get something for the 1.400 . ive got in their company ,and be done with the matter .i do not want any more work done by them .so if someone does not respond by friday .im gonna file small claims and drag this out a little more .

 

I would suggest going to small claims court. If I were in your shoes I would tell them they are crazy. Why would you want $600 worth of labor after they already proved to you that their labor is worthless? I would ask for a new crank. Good luck!

i sent them a 425 crank to have it offset and maged and i got it back and it was 20.000 off in the center

 

I'd suggest cutting your loses and taking the 600 and run, take it from me I have over 10 times what you have overspent on a body shop that continues to screw up my car - I have talked to lawyers and at this point I'm just proceeding carefully

Small claims court may get you absolutely nothing and waste a lot of time - but I'm no lawyer.................

 

I would just for for a replacement.

All the bad publicity on the Olds boards cost Rocket Racing at least 10x that much is lost future business.

 

Steven....I don't think they are offering him $600 cash....they are offering him a credit of $600 to be spent in their shop..which is BS.

My nephew had work done @ RR without a problem, other than time.
I know Dad was diagnosed with Cancer, which screwed things up for a while, but we gave them x-tra time!
Very happy w/ their work!

 

Based on the other thread, "Rocket Racing sucks," I cannot conclude that RR was at fault. They were probably offering something for customer satisfaction. In that thread, two different boxes appeared, as well as two different cranks at different points during the story.

 

F-85 on here has 2 425 cranks for sale in Plano, IL. Just scoop one of those bad boys up for $150 and get it cut correctly.
Another $300 for the proper cut, and matching bearings, and everyone's happy at under $600 including gasoline.
There, I fixed it.

after 1 year and 8 mos of waiting for rocket racing to either return my money , or give me something , i had bought anther and had it off set ,and intstead of building a 468, i went 496 ,more cubic less rpm . smells more like rottten chesse , just like i stated earlier , i spoke to john and dick , after the hearing , you have the bat phone that goes to the direct line , of getting in contact with him , and i'm sure , they gave you full details

 

I think the $600 credit is just for labor.I bought some things from them a few years ago.Only to find out I could have got it some where else a lot cheaper.What they did to this guy doesn't surprise me at all.

because rocket racing offer me 600.00 for a 1.200 job and i offered this to any that deals with them , but i had no offer but one , so i took them to court and allow the judge to judge this case
