67 W30 on Mecum

I just saw a 67 W30 sell for $46.5K. They say it was legit. It was yellow, looked nice. $46k?
I just figured out, this was taped. Probably sold months ago. Need to think before typing.

It's not taped. HD Theater does repeat their Mecum auction broadcasts from time to time, but this one is going on this weekend, right now, in Kissimmee, Florida. Haven't you heard them talk constantly about how this is the first auction in their 2011 season?

If there's any rebroadcast going on, they DO show the auction live from 6-10 p.m. eastern time and then turn around and rebroadcast it immediately for another four hours. But this is not an auction from months ago being rebroadcast now.

I saw that car, too.

The other Olds that surprised me was the '52 98 that DIDN'T sell, even though the bidding reached $82,000. All I could think is, Good God man, take the money and run! How much do you think this car is worth???

That '69 Hurst Olds is coming up this afternoon at around 1:00, today the TV show starts at 2pm and goes until 8pm.
It couldn't be Jamesbo's former car could it?

their site says not sold at 44k that does seem like a reasonable price not sure why someone wouldn't jump on it. - of course I wouldn't be able to
