Just recalled a dream I had last night where I took my Olds out shortly after it was restored. I came back after 10 minutes or so of driving. When I lifted the hood however, there were a few 'problems'... there was no carburetor, radiator, alternator, fan, belts, etc. I thought to myself, damn... that was not a good thing to do... I think I might have fried the engine. I have had several other similar ones where the car runs, but engine parts are missing (sometimes the engine itself).

Had several others where I leave it outside, and the next morning, it either has new parts stolen and replaced with crappy parts, like my engine is missing and has a old dirty Honda engine instead, or full of straw (kinda like the movie Scarecrows ). Weird.

I can't be the only one I hope.

 

I had a dream like that once.

Except when I lifted the hood there were lawn mower engines in there.

SIX of the little buggers....vibrating and rattling...

 

lol , I had a dream my car wasnt restored and I have no money......wait its true! oh the humanity!

 

Wow - time to lay off the pizza and beer right before bedtime...

 

I have had plenty of dreams with my cars in them. They usually go something like this, the car just won't go for crap...........I step on the gas, the engine makes a noise, the wheels inch forward slowly but I don't really get anywhere. The worst of it all is this, I don't know what is wrong and can't fix it, not even a clue. That's a nightmare.

 

Just the opposite,I have dreams I open my garage and my cutlass has been replaced with a frame off w-30 the same year and color combo.
