Definitely a rare find... Whether it was a great deal or not is another question, since no price was disclosed... The fact both vehicles had sequential vins might make the pair even more pricey... If I had found them and could have afforded them, I sure would have liked to own them even if they are Buicks...

And the window sticker still on the window. Wow.

My good friend had one back when I was in college. Man was that car a blast to drive.

Too bad they didn't use that engine in the Hurst Olds or 442 of that period.

Very cool!

That's not too far from me. Too bad I didn't find them.

Wow,what a find!! An '87 GN was my first brand new car. I was working at a Cleveland area Buick dealer back then & our service manager had one for his demo,I took one spin in it & had to have one! With just a few simple "bolt on" mods(chip,ram-air,etc) I was running 13.20s @106mph! not bad for a V6 & it still got 26 mpg if you kept your foot out of it(impossible)!I had the tickets to prove it! The only thing bad about it was I sold my nice '68 442 to help pay for it!! I sold it in '93 for a good chunk of the down payment for my house(I got almost what I paid for it even at 6yrs old!) Fast forward a few years & as much as I miss the GN I missed my Olds more & now have another '68 442 in the garage!

Nah, the "OMG it doesn't have an Olds Engine!" crowd would be going apeshit.
