Poor clone emblem placement.

Came across this surfing CL. This is probably one of the worst clone jobs from an emblem perspective I have seen.

I especially like the 442 emblem on the glovebox.

Curious why a car in Peoria, IL has VA plates.

A lot of his neighbors are looking for their mailbox numbers.

I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet... Even if it's a clone, it's well worth the $40 asking price... Or did I miss some zeros somewhere in the title listing...

Lots of things to pick at on that listing - especially all the trim parts that the W29 would delete to make it part of either a W29 or W30 package. First time I've ever seen a white console too.

It won't bring the $$ that's being asked IMO. Now if it was just $40 I'm sure it would have been sold long ago....

If you can buy faux louvers at the auto parts store to make your Nissan Altima look like a 50s Buick, then can't a guy glue 442 badges on to his car to make it look cool?

Only thing is Jesse, it's being advertised as a 442 when it clearly not. If that was part of the restoration it was poorly done and not researched.

Right. I know very little about the Cutlass / 442 and even I could tell that the 442 badge was improperly placed on the glove box like Joe said. I was just fooling around. I would hope if someone were to spend that much on a classic car they would come to a place like our website first to get the facts.
