Congrats to you!
Way cool to see a successful journey home with a new-old car!
I did the same, but it was only 1900 miles... It could have been less, but I figured I might as well see the Smokey Mountains and the Blue Ridge parkway as well.

CONGRATS! Car looks good! Man, REMEMBER when these cars were EVERYWHERE you looked almost out on the Streets in the Late 70s/Early 80s?? I always LIKED their looks a lot back then too but now...Man, those were just GREAT looking cars! WHY can't GM make anything that even comes close to these?! They had such a good thing going in those days!
Anyway, Congrats again and BEST of luck with it!

First thing is "Welcome" and a great find. "BUT" you have to get rid of the chebby wheels!!!!!!!!! Somebody here must be able to get some factory wheel. The all chrome ones with the clip on center cap is the best.

The a/c works but i did not use it because less chance of anything breaking,I would like to try and paint it original color (silver) and put on some olds rally wheels.

Glad you made it home with no problems,
because I wasn't coming to get you LOL

Seen the car up close and it's very solid and starts right up by just turning the key
