Title Question
#3
I seriously doubt it, neither of my buddies titles have it, just "Oldsmobile", the same as my W31. Two Vettes that I owned were "Chevrolet", and my Grand National was "Buick". This is in Michigan.

That's a pretty simple answer. What is asked for is the make and model. In '68-'71 when the 442 was a model, 442 belongs on the title. Like in '66 when it was an option, it doesn't belong on the title.
That said, most states appear to be really sloppy with the model. The model names are more often than not listed incorrectly. Like saying simply Cutlass when the model is technically a Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe. I've even seen "CTLS".
But the B/L is that what the model is listed as is of very little importance to the state and the legality of the title. It's all in the VIN. If the VIN is correct, that is all that really matters.
