W30 aluminum intake

Is there any differences between a 70 w30 aluminum intake and a 71/72 w30 aluminum intake ?

There are 2 70 intakes, and 1 71-72 intake
Are you asking about performance, or part numbers and appearance?

I know the stamping on the 70 is there a difference and the later stamping is also on the 71/72 I believe ? (Not 💯 on that ) is there a performance difference ? My 71 442 was march of 71 so A few things are dated 70. Is there a performance difference ?

No difference in performance. They are just an aluminum copy of the cast iron intake. And a March 1971 car is relatively a late build. Production of 1971 models started in August of 1970

What would you suggest for performance then ? That will still work with my hood and air cleaner in aluminum?

Haven’t stated on the motor yet. Only going to do a little head work. Maybe bore intake a little. Upgrade cam. mostly stuck is what I want. Would like 400hp nothing crazy

You have a few options. But none will allow you to keep the iconic OAI adapter with the flapper door.
1. Edelbrock RPM Air Gap with 1970 Chevelle Cowl Induction (CI) adapter on your air cleaner base. Use W-30 foam on the CI adapter.
2. Crosswind with CI adapter and W-31 foam.
3. Performer with CI adapter and W-30 foam.
4. Torker with CI adapter and W-31 foam.

Also, with any of these, you will need to fabricate longer vent pipes from valve cover breather to air cleaner elbow.
